Scott is part of the corporate communications team at Las Vegas Sands, working as the digital communications specialist. His focus is online, where he manages all of the social media sites for Las Vegas Sands including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram. Scott also runs the corporate media center and is the managing editor of Sands Confidential.
Afshin joined The Venetian Macao in August 2011 as Public Relations Manager in charge of editorial content. He’s a journalist by training, having worked at CNN, The Weather Channel, and as a freelance video editor. A native of Iran, he grew up in southern Louisiana and has lived in Asia a total of eight years. His passions include music, technology and tennis, and he’s the proud father of four girls.
Bhavna is a member of Marina Bay Sands’ social media team. With her trusty iPad in hand, she focuses on Retail and Entertainment activities in and around the property and has a keen interest in sharing the latest happenings and unique capabilities of social media.
Born and raised in sunny Southern California, Darcy is currently an Engagement Coordinator in the Human Resources department at The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas. She keeps our fabulous team members informed and engaged with current projects on property via communications and special events.
From Hangzhou, China, Jenny is a director of sustainability, and she will keep us informed about the environmental efforts of Las Vegas Sands, as well as help keep us abreast of what we’re doing in Asia. As a founding member of Sands Eco 360°, she focuses on continuously improving the company’s stewardship of the environment.
As an officer for internal communications at Marina Bay Sands, Jonathan spearheads a number of projects that keep team members informed about what’s going on at our resort in Singapore. He writes for our daily news, oversees a closed Facebook group for team members, as well as helps with a weekly in-house newsletter. He says he’s humbled to be responsible for disseminating information at a company-wide level and to be a contributor to the corporate blog of Las Vegas Sands.
Born and raised in Slovakia, Katarina leads Sands Eco 360°, our global sustainability initiative. She says it is her personal and professional mission to reduce the impact of our operations on the environment. An outdoor enthusiast, she has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, gone on safari in Africa, explored ancient ruins in Egypt, and dived in the Red Sea.
Kenny Coyle is a senior manager in Sands China’s Resort Marketing department, which covers The Venetian Macao, The Plaza Macao and Sands Macao. Kenny is originally from Scotland but has been based in Asia for the past decade, living in Singapore and Hong Kong before coming to Macau. He’s a travel journalist by profession and before joining Sands China he edited two of Asia’s leading conference and meetings magazines. Among Kenny’s responsibilities is overseeing Cotai Style Macao, Sands China’s bilingual magazine. With the exciting opening of Sands Cotai Central next year, there will be plenty to write about.
Philicia is a Community Manager within the Social Media Team at Marina Bay Sands. She joined the integrated resort in August 2011 and she currently looks after ArtScience Museum and Food & Beverage social media work at Marina Bay Sands. Philicia loves to connect people, read inspirational books, and she is also an avid traveler who is always looking to be inspired creatively by people and things around her.
Born and raised in India, Syed joined Sands China Ltd in January 2014 to lead the Sands ECO3600 Sustainability Team in Macao and responsible for driving and implementing company’s sustainability goals across all properties. He comes with over 20 years of experience in the areas of energy, sustainability, facilities management and technical engineering on various market segments such as hospitality, commercial, offices, mixed developments, industrial and educational facilities. His personal and professional mission is to contribute in combating the climate change issues for better tomorrow while sharing and learning at various forums.
Kellie Sellers has been a Brand Marketing Coordinator at Sands Bethlehem for 2 years. Her daily duties include managing all of the social media sites for the entire Sands Bethlehem property, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, and assisting the Brand Marketing department with their marketing and advertising efforts.
Megan is our Brand Marketing Manager at Sands Bethlehem and has been with the property for 5 ½ years. Her job keeps her on her toes and loves coming in to something different every day. She is also part of the Sands Bethlehem Green Team. Megan has joined forces with other Team Members at Sands Bethlehem and works closely with Corporate Sustainability to make the property and community a greener place. Megan was born and raised in Allentown, PA, loves listening to music and is a huge Philadelphia sports fan!
Born and bred in the Midwest, Stephanie is currently the Director of Operations for Sands Cares at the Venetian, Palazzo and Sands Expo. With a background in operations, she is focused on building a comprehensive philanthropic program that engages the team to support the community through action and aids in making Las Vegas a great place to live.
Rene is part of the global sustainability team at Las Vegas Sands, working as the global sustainability manager for the corporate team. His focus is in the analysis and development of corporate sustainability objectives alongside the vice president of global sustainability. He also manages the compilation and distribution of the Sands ECO360 quarterly newsletter.
A Senior Manager for Communications and CSR at Marina Bay Sands, Joyce is extremely humbled by the opportunity to lend a hand to local communities in-need in her current capacity. She aspires to motivate even more Team Members at Marina Bay Sands to give their time for good causes.
Ani is the Event & Campaign Manager for the Group Sales team at the Venetian, Palazzo and Sands Expo. The scope of her role includes management of large scale events, leads, marketing efforts and site inspections. Ani is also part of the Sands Cares Leadership Committee where she hopes to inspire team members to engage within their local community. Originating from Armenia, Ani loves to travel, enjoys reading and can’t resist the urge to dance whenever there is music playing.
Born and raised in India, Pranav leads the Sands ECO360 Sustainability Program and is responsible for driving and implementing the company’s sustainability goals and initiatives for The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo in Las Vegas. He says he lives the ethos of sustainability in his daily life and he is very adamant about conserving energy and water through reusing, recycling, and repurposing. His personal mission is to educate people on the importance of sustainability and how they can do things differently, and he has promised to lead by example as well.
Elspeth is part of the social media team at Marina Bay Sands. In addition to her focus on online reputation management and corporate citizenship activities across the property, she also manages Marina Bay Sands’ LinkedIn profile, and looks forward to sharing more exciting updates from the award-winning integrated resort.
