Last fall, our Sustainability Team partnered with NevadaRecycles to host the inaugural “Recycled Art” competition. Over 90 entries were submitted from all age groups using only recycled or reused materials in their creations. Check out the entry from Andrea Lopez, the winner of the K-5 category. The “Paper Dog” was made from boxes, school paper, cans, fabric, bottle lids and a jar lid. Nice work, Andrea!
Marina Bay Sands welcomed His Serene Highness, Prince Albert II of Monaco on November 7th. A strong advocator of environmental issues, the Prince established his foundation (The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation) in 2006 to support sustainable and ethical projects all over the world. He was here in Singapore for his foundation’s fundraising gala, held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre.

Las Vegas Sands recently donated $100,000 to five non-profit organizations in Las Vegas through the Sands Give-Back Bank, a new charitable giving initiative that enable LVS team members at The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo Center to determine where the company allocates a bank of charitable funds.
