To start off the month of September, Sands Academy introduced Team Members to a program centered around Dr. Spencer Johnson’s Who Moved My Cheese?, a simple work place tale that reveals truths about the value of various perspectives in change management. bit.ly/2dxM7p4

Las Vegas Sands is launching its fourth annual “I Will If You Will” (IWIYW) global challenge from March 13-19 through its global sustainability program, Sands ECO360°. The annual event is designed to encourage Team Members from all of LVS’ properties around the world to take action to reduce their impact on climate change. The event is organized by the World Wildlife Fund and is held in conjunction with Earth Hour, which is scheduled to take place on March 19.
For the 7th consecutive year, several Sands Bethlehem Team Members participated in Read Across America Day at local Bethlehem school, Donegan Elementary on March 2nd. Team Members were invited to read children's books to students ranging from kindergarten to 5th grade and also participated in a Q&A session with the children immediately afterwards.
Las Vegas Sands is proud to participate in Nevada Reading Week from February 28 through March 4 as part of our global corporate citizenship program, Sands Cares. Throughout the week, our Team Members from The Venetian and The Palazzo have visited Rex Bell and Matt Kelly Elementary schools to read to students and to provide new books that were donated through our book drive that took place throughout the month of February.
