Happy ##EarthDay! Did you know that The Venetian and The Palazzo water reclamation system recycles 5 million gallons of nuisance water a year for horticulture use? Las Vegas Sands (LVS) is dedicated to supporting the people in our company and people in the hospitality industry. We exhibit that dedication through our corporate citizenship program, Sands Cares. LVS has had a long-standing relationship with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and with the launch of Sands Cares in 2014, we strengthened that relationship by making a 5-year, $7 million contribution to the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at UNLV.
Sands Cares and Sands ECO360° in Las Vegas officially kicked off their partnership with the Outside Las Vegas Foundation (OLVF) with a park and trail clean-up on Saturday, March 7th. OLVF works to connect residents of Southern Nevada to the outdoors and to create a community that enjoys, values and protects these places.
So far in 2015, Sands Bethlehem Team Members have been hard at work volunteering their time and raising money for local charities and elementary schools across the Lehigh Valley!
